PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide woody furniture such as a studying desk or the like and a studying desk with shelves, which have warmth and touch characteristic of woody materials and handmade feeling as well as the periphery presents an appearance as if it were used long even though it is new.;SOLUTION: A studying desk 10 with shelves, which lays desktop shelves 12 in the rear side of a top plate 19, has chamfered parts 2 at least on front edge parts of the top plate 19 and horizontal plates which compose shelf boards 15 or the like of the desktop shelves, and the chamfered parts smoothly rise and fall along the periphery.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
