PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive barrier-freeing modification structure of a stairs room type multiple dwelling house short in a construction period, superior in an aesthetic appearance, and enabling a resident to dwell during a work period. PSOLUTION: In this barrier-freeing modification structure of the stairs room type multiple dwelling house, a horizontal external corridor of a suspending structure is arranged on the stairs side of an existing stairs room type multiple dwelling house, and a horizontal corridor is arranged between the horizontal external corridor and respective floor porches, and an external elevator is also arranged so as to connect with the horizontal external corridor.
