MANUFACTURING METHOD OF TATAMI SURFACE AND FLOWER STRAW MAT MADE OF JAPANESE PAPER OR SYNTHETIC PAPER BY USING NATURAL MATERIAL FOR STAINING AND PHOTOCATALYTIC TITANIUM OXIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Tatami surface and a flower straw mat having antibacterial, odor eliminating, antifouling, and environmental cleanup effects.;SOLUTION: (1)Catechin of natural tea, tannin of an astringent persimmon and photocatalytic titanium oxide are used for staining the Tatami surface and the flower straw mat made of paper strings of the Japanese paper or the synthetic paper. (2)The Japanese paper or the synthetic paper is used to make the paper strings, and natural indigo and titanium oxide are used for staining the Tatami surface and the flower straw mat. To be specific, staining processing for the Japanese paper or the synthetic paper is conducted by using (1) the catechin of tea, the tannin of the astringent persimmon and the titanium oxide, or (2) the natural indigo and the titanium oxide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
