PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium for sublimation ink transferring in which the transfer ratio of a sublimation dye on a printing medium is high, and an image with a high density can be formed on the printing medium and the working time is shortened, a method of manufacturing it and a transfer recording method.;SOLUTION: This inkjt recording medium is constituted by providing an ink receiving layer on one face of a substrate. The substrate is a single-sided glazed paper with a glossy surface prepared by press-contacting one face on a heated mirror surface roll under a wet paper condition and drying it. The glossy surface has a Beck smoothness described by JIS P8119 of 50-500 s and the opposite face (non-glossy surface) of the glossy surface has the Beck smoothness of 3-30 s, and it is constituted by providing the ink receiving layer comprising a pigment and a binder on the glossy surface.
