PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silver halide particles reduced in such property as to make the particles developable by inherent absorption of the silver halide itself or absorption of radiation, and to provide a silver halide emulsion containing the particles and a silver halide photographic sensitive material reduced in sensitivity to these.;SOLUTION: The silver halide particles contain at least one dopant which, with respect to an electron and a hole generated in the silver halide upon inherent light absorption of the silver halide or absorption of radiation, captures the hole and then captures the electron to recombine them. Preferably, the silver halide particles further contain a dopant which constrains electrons generated in the particles upon exposure of the particles by the electrostatic attraction. A silver halide emulsion which contains a silver halide emulsion and a silver halide photographic photosensitive compound which contains the particles of this invention and one-electron oxidized body produced by one electron oxidation of the compound is capable of releasing two or more electrons.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
