PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective energy-saving microclimate regulating system for a building, using a natural draft action, which is suitable for a subtropical climate.;SOLUTION: Outside air is passed through an open ceiling space 1 of the building, a ventilation tower 3, outlets 4 of air on both sides below a double-layer type floor board space 6, and a pore 7 of a venting floor, so that a natural air duct for an airflow is formed throughout the building. Furthermore, a planting heat-insulating layer 16 is arranged outside a building wall; a blind is supplementarily provided for the induction of the airflow; and the airflow is passed through the venting floor so as to bring about dehumidification and a drop in temperature. The air passing through the inside of each room is collected in a thermal storage space 14, whose temperature rises by virtue of solar radiation, via the open ceiling space communicating with each room and a vertical ventilation hole 2 communicating with the ventilation tower, or exhausted by an exhaust action of a chimney-type upper lid for bringing about an air intake action by a wind force. Dwelling conditions of a healthy and comfortable indoor microclimate in a subtropical climate area are realized by these natural ventilation methods.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
