PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone unit which can be easily found even if a unit body is missing while a speaker for an incoming call sound is set to OFF.;SOLUTION: When an incoming call reaches the cellular phone unit body 1 from another phone unit and an external sound is detected, it activates a sound recognition function of a received data processing circuit 13 and transits to the detection of sound recognition. The circuit 13 collates with an arbitrary sound peculiar to the unit body 1 which has been set beforehand, and the sound from the other phone unit coincides with the arbitrary sound, it makes audio guidance. The circuit 13 again transits to the detection of the sound recognition, makes the second collation, and if the sound from other unit coincides with the arbitrary sound, operation control for the incoming call sound (control of the speaker 15 by a control circuit 14) is enabled from the outside.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
