PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain for rainwater for preventing rainwater from blowing up or scattering to the outside of the drain body and achieving easy and efficient construction.;SOLUTION: This funnel type rainwater drain includes a drain body 2 having a catch tray part 4, a cylindrical part 5 extended downward from the catch tray part, and a water guide part 6 extended from a part of the peripheral edge of the catch tray part 4 in the lateral direction. A cylindrical strainer 9 is set on the catch tray part 4, and a flat perforated plate part 7 corresponding to the water guide part 6 is formed in the strainer 9. The flat perforated plate part 7 has an upper surface wall 7a and a peripheral surface wall 7b, the upper surface wall 7a has non-hole wall surface, and an intake 8 is formed in the peripheral surface wall 7b. In the drain body 2, a part extending from the catch tray part 4 to the cylindrical part 5 is a tapered funnel part 10 gradually decreased in bore diameter from the upper part to the lower part, and a vertical gutter pipe 14 is concentrically with the funnel part 10 inserted into the strainer 9. Rainwater is let flow into the funnel part 10 from the vertical gutter pipe 14 and discharged to the lower side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
