PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-proof building structure, effectively exhibiting the withstand load performance and advantageously realizing reinforcement construction to an existing building structure.;SOLUTION: Between the opposite surfaces of an upper connecting rod 30a and a lower connecting rod 30b pulling and connecting an upper horizontal member 12 and a lower horizontal member 14 to each other, an interpolation rod 38 is inserted from one end part 42 in the axial direction to a hollow outer sleeve 36 and an expansible connecting member 34 assembled to the outer sleeve 36 to be disabled from pulling out in the axial direction, freely expanded and contracted and relatively rotate around the central axis is disposed on the same central axis, and the other axial end part 42 of the outer sleeve 36 and the projecting end part 58 of the interpolation rod 38 are respectively connected to each end part 32 of the upper and lower connecting rods 30a, 30b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
