PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and practical content reproduction time limit management system eliminating risk such as leakage of personal information of a user to the outside. PSOLUTION: Inherent identification information identifying the recording medium itself is recorded in the recording medium recording content information which is the object of reproduction time limit management. At least the identification information recorded in the recording medium in such way is read by the terminal device, and it is sent to the server device. In the server device, on the basis of reproducible time limit information indicating a reproducible time limit in regard to the content information recorded in the recording medium on the basis of at least the identification information, management is carried out in regard to the reproducible time limit of the content information recorded in the recording medium. By this, when carrying out reproduction time limit management of the content recorded in the recording medium, there is no need to set registration information such as personal information of the user in a server device side as is conventional.
