PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition capable of giving an epoxy resin cured product excellent in workability and thermal/mechanical properties and electrical properties.;SOLUTION: The epoxy resin diluent consists of a liquid epoxy compound 91-102 in epoxy equivalent and ≤100 ppm in total chlorine content, represented by the general formula(1)( wherein, R is H, methyl, ethyl or glycidyloxymethyl ). The epoxy resin composition essentially comprises the epoxy resin diluent, a solid epoxy resin or a liquid epoxy resin higher in viscosity than the epoxy resin diluent, and a curing agent or a curing catalyst, wherein the epoxy resin diluent accounts for 1-60 wt.% of a total of the essential components.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
