PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy steel powder for an iron-based sintered, heat-treated material which is superior in bearing fatigue characteristics and provides a sintered material having adequate bearing fatigue characteristics and more economical than a conventional one.;SOLUTION: The alloy steel powder for the iron-based sintered, heat-treated material is prepared by coating the surface of a pre-alloyed steel powder comprising 0.5-2.0 mass% Mo, preferably more than 1.0 mass% to 2.0 mass% Mo, and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities with 0.1-0.8 mass% Cu.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
