PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content delivering/reproducing system for providing users with an advertisement effectively according to the viewing time.;SOLUTION: When an actual content is reproduced at an IPB 51 or during reproduction thereof, delivery of an advertisement content is requested from the IPB 51 to the advertisement content server 103 of a cable head end system 10 and the advertisement content is delivered from a server 103 to the IPB 51. If delivery of the advertisement content is requested during reproduction of the actual content at the IPB 51, the IPB 51 reproduces the advertisement content delivered from the advertisement server 103 under a state where reproduction of the actual content is stopped temporarily. If delivery of the advertisement content is requested when the actual content is reproduced, the advertisement content delivered to the IPB 51 is reproduced before starting reproduction of the actual content.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
