PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a flux cleaning agent capable of reviving superior cleaning efficiency and elongating a life time after cleaning a material to be cleaned or before use, and a regenerated flux cleaning agent.;SOLUTION: This method for regenerating the flux cleaning agent comprises making the flux cleaning agent after use or before use in contact with a salt forming compound and/or an acid compound adsorbing material.
