PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for single photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT) through which uniform and qualitative image pickup data can be collected at the time of performing pin-hole single photon emission computerized tomography.;SOLUTION: At the time of performing SPECT, one or more detector blocks respectively provided with position detecting type radiation detectors fitted with pin hole collimators are arranged around a pedestal which can support an object so that the object may always be included in their visual fields. Then radiation measurement data are collected by means of the detector blocks by moving the blocks on and out of planes of rotation around the pedestal, and the data are recorded in a storage device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
