PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic attended management system capable of checking whether the other party is attended or not before making a telephone call.;SOLUTION: On a communication network 11, there are provided a PC 12a and a server apparatus 13 for managing the PC 12a and other terminal units 12b to 12g. The PC 12a informs the presence/absence of a user to the server apparatus 13 which stores informed contents. When receiving an inquiry about the presence/absence of the user from the other terminal units 12b to 12 g, the server apparatus 13 reads out the informed contents to transmit them to the other terminals 12b to 12g.
