TESTING MODEL FOR GAS TURBINE COMBUSTOR DOME AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a testing model for a gas turbine engine combustor dome and the testing model manufactured using the same.;SOLUTION: A wall segment 12 and two supporting band segments 22, 24 corresponding to each other are arranged on a fixture 20. The fixture 20 positions an opening portion 20 of the wall segment 12, positions the first and second supporting band segments 22, 24 at the radial inside and outside edges 14, 16 of the wall segment 12 and orients the wall segment 12 to determine a dome angle of an installed dome assembly. Then, the installed dome assembly is left on the fixture 30 and the wall segment 12 and the supporting band segments 22, 24 are joined to each other to form at least a unit sector 10 of the testing model.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
