PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining tool for preventing the joining tool from deviating from a sinking position where the tool is ought to be sunk.;SOLUTION: A stirrer 23 to be sunk into bonded objects 21 while rotating around an axis l1 has a projection 25 in its central part. The projection 25 is formed in an acute shape protruding along the axis L1 and having an apex 26 on the axis 26. As a result, a portion eccentric to the rotating axis L1 does not first come into contact with the joined objects 21 and is not subjected to reaction from the joined objects 21 when the joining tool 20 is sunk into the joined objects 21. Accordingly, the joining tool 21 is prevented from being deviated to a direction perpendicular to the axis L1. Namely, the joining tool 21 can be exactly sunk into the sinking position where the tool is ought to be sunk.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
