PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent incorrect ID registration caused by interference in a tire pressure monitoring system. PSOLUTION: A monitor 50 is switched to an ID registration mode, and the ID is read from a bar code 5 or the like and transmitted to the tire pressure monitor 50 (S20-30). The tire pressure monitor 50 registers the received ID in a memory 55 (S40, S50). When the registration of the required number of IDs is completed, the monitor 50 is switched to a normal mode to terminate ID registration work (S60, S70). In tire replacement, an ID registration tool 60 is used, and the ID is read from a bar code stuck to the removed tire and transmitted to the tire pressure monitor 50 from the ID registration tool 60 (S80, S90). The monitor 50 deletes an ID corresponding to this ID, from the memory 55 (S100). The ID registration tool 60 is used to read the ID from the bar code stuck to the newly mounted tire.
