PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily regulate a camera position in response to a size of a tube, to check-observe a cavity positioned in an upper part of the tube, by a tube inside searching instrument provided with a camera with a lens onto a traveling body moving advancingly/retreatingly inside the cylindrical tube while drawing a cable, and to allow easy travel in the advance/retreat therefor.;SOLUTION: In this tube inside searching instrument provided with the camera with the lens onto the traveling body moving advancingly/retreatingly inside the cylindrical tube, a link mechanism is arranged on the traveling body to elevate and descend integrally the camera and a radar system positioned in an upper part of the camera, by an elevation and descent regulating means.
