PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of floc to be crushed small by a feed pump with respect to a flocculation treatment apparatus for performing filtration while maintaining a prescribed flow rate of filtration by supplying water to be treated which contains the floc formed by adding a flocculant, to a membrane module. PSOLUTION: A motor 6 for driving the feed pump 5 has a rotating speed, as a rated rotating speed, at which the water to be treated can be supplied to the membrane module 2 so as to maintain the prescribed flow rate of filtration even when the filtration resistance of the membrane module 2 rises to a prescribed permissible value. The rotating speed of the motor 6 is adjusted in a rotating speed range lower than the rated rotating speed in such a manner that the prescribed flow rate of filtration of the membrane module 2 detected by a flowmeter 12 attains the prescribed flow rate of filtration.
