PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material supply device having a hopper bottom part structure for efficiently utilizing the push-in force applied to a molding material through a push-in member.;SOLUTION: The molding material MT in a hopper HP is pressed downward by the push-in member PSMB. In this case, the cylindrical part of the hopper vertically extends to the opening provided to the lowermost end of a hopper bottom part HPB as it is at the opening end part on the rear side of a barrel large in the bite-in due to an injection screw SCRW. Accordingly, a side wall part, which constitutes the hopper bottom part, is vertically formed at the opening end part on the rear side of the barrel. The pressing force applied from the push-in member is efficiently applied to the opening end part on the rear side of the barrel large in bite-in capacity without being absorbed by the vertical side wall part.
