ERECTION METHOD FOR ARCH RIB OF CONCRETE ARCH BRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a construction period and facilitate application to a large-scale arch, when an arch rib of a concrete arch bridge is erected by a Melan method.;SOLUTION: After first respective Melan materials 22A with a prescribed length, which constitute an arch base, are erected at both the ends of the arch in an obliquely suspended manner, the concrete-lined construction of the Melan materials 22A is performed by making the Melan materials 22A serve as timbering, and a second Melan material 22B is erected in the central part of the arch by being coupled to the Melan materials 22A. After that, the Melan material 22B is lined with concrete. Thus, a simple moving work vehicle 50 for the concrete-lined construction in the central part of the arch is also used for the concrete-lined construction in the arch base, so that the replacement of the initial setup of the moving work vehicle 50 can be made unnecessary. Additionally, the rigidity of the arch base is adequately secured by providing the arch base with a steel/concrete composite structure, so that the weight of the Melan materials 22 for being arranged throughout the length of an arch span can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
