PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sanitarily recovering raw materials from sanitary goods adhered with soil by disinfecting or sterilizing colitis germs and other various germs adhering to the sanitary goods containing highly water absorbing resin gelling by having absorbed water. PSOLUTION: The method for recovering the raw materials from the sanitary goods is characterized in that the sanitary goods containing highly water absorbing resin gelling by having absorbed water are crushed in the presence of a disinfectant, and the crushed sanitary goods are dispersed in water containing a disinfectant and are decomposed to its individual raw materials to separate the crushed sanitary goods from a portion of the soil adhering to the sanitary goods, and that the crushed sanitary goods are next dispersed in boiling water to further decompose the sanitary goods to its individual raw materials and to separate the crushed sanitary goods from a portion of the residual soil adhering to the sanitary goods.
