PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrographic chart information display system for fishing enabling a fisherman to confirm not only the location information on the fishing boat( fishing site ) at present but also various kinds of information including the topographic profile at the bottom of the sea and practically fishing status via a display, and to provide a fishing reel using the system.;SOLUTION: The fishing reel includes the hydrographic chart information display system for fishing which is mounted on the reel body and comprises a display screen for displaying fishing information to a fisherman, a means for detecting a current location of the fisherman, a memory means with hydrographic chart information stored therein, and a control unit functioning to read out from the memory means hydrographic chart information corresponding to the current location detected by the relevant means and display on the screen the detected current location and the hydrographic chart information read out from the memory means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
