PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-bandwidth track following actuator for hard disk drives.;SOLUTION: A pivot-incorporated motor 100 includes a coil disk 104, upper magnet-yoke disks 106, 107, and lower magnet yoke disks 108, 109. The coil disk is mounted to a shaft 103 for forming a shaft coil assembly. The coil disk includes a plurality of coils 202-212, that are installed, while orthogonally crossing the axis of each shaft. The half of the coils receives a first-direction current. The other half of the coils provided at a side absolutely opposite to a first coil receives a second current in a second direction so that torque, where force in a net rectilinear direction composed of both coils equals zero substantially.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
