PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage detecting sensor constituted so as to enable sensing of high sensitivity in a low strain region.;SOLUTION: The damage detecting sensor 1 is constituted so as to be equipped with a fragile matrix 4, a conductive route comprising conductive particles 14 dispersed in the fragile materix 4 and fibers 24 arranged in the fragile matrix 4 to reinforce the fragile matrix 4.
