PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source waveform synthesizer adopting a waveform analysis method which can analyze the useful frequency components of an original waveform.;SOLUTION: The waveform analysis method is used as a tool for forming a waveform by waveform synthesis. In a step S33, waveform data having a one-frame length are successively segmented from original waveform data WAVE so that one-frame periods overlap each other, and FFT analysis processing is performed on the obtained data to detect the frequencies, amplitudes, and phases of frequency components. A plurality of frequency components each of which has an amplitude (peak amplitude) larger than those of preceding and succeeding frequency components are outputted as locus data DD(i).
