PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book binding system capable of preventing erroneous book binding without performing trial book binding.;SOLUTION: A job is dispersed into a plurality of image forming devices by a job server 10, and when a book is bound in such a process that the sheets contained in a container 400 of an image forming device are fed by a post processing device 150, which is an off line, the left side of the sheets discharged from the image forming device can be bound in the post processing device 150. Therefore, in the case where a staple position is selected on the left side of the sheets, images are formed with the sheets erected with the top and bottom of the sheets facing in the normal direction. In the case where a staple position is selected on the right side of the sheets, images are formed with the sheets erected with the top and bottom of the sheets inverted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
