PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a displacement or an attitude for every possible objective scene and place, such as detecting an attitude for attitude control for a ship, an aircraft or the like, and as detecting an attitude for a bodily part of the aged or an athlete.;SOLUTION: This electric signal generator has a cylindrical container fixed with a pair or more of electrodes having the same shape and the same area on its inner circumferential face, sealed with a liquid dielectric substance, and having an axial center along a vertical direction, a disc having conductive and nonconductive outer circumferential areas of equal area opposed with a space on the inner circumferential face of the cylindrical container, connected to a damper, and imparted with an inertia moment to be turned freely around the axis, a means for taking out as an electric signal a change of an electrostatic capacity generated by a positional shift between a position due to a circumferential-directional turn of of the cylindrical container and a circumferential-directional position caused by inertia of the disc, and an electric signal generating means arranged with two pair or more of electrodes having the same conductive surface area inside the cylindrical container to generate an electric signal corresponding to the change of the generated electrostatic capacity due to a difference in contact areas with the liquid dielectric substance among the electrodes caused by an inclination of the cylindrical container.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
