PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp the operating conditions of a system for investigating the license acquisition condition of an EDA (Electric Design Automation) tool used for a circuit design such as various electronic circuits and various electric circuits, a method for investigating acquisition condition, a controlling program for making a computer execute the method and a readable recording medium which records the controlling program and can be read by the computer.;SOLUTION: This system investigates whether or not access to a license server 3 from a terminal device 6 of a manger side on network 7. When the terminal device can not access to the license server, The system stops the investigation and warns by using the terminal device 6 of the manager side. The system inquires the operating condition of a management process 31 of the EDA tool to the license server 3 from the terminal device 6 of the manager side. When the process does not operate normally, the system stops the investigation and warns by using the terminal device 6 of the manager side. The system inquires license expiration date to the license server 3 from the terminal device 6 of the manager side.
