PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a using method for a liquid drop ejector in which consumption of ejecting liquid can be reduced, a liquid drop ejector, an electro-optical device being produced using such a liquid drop ejector, a process for producing an electro-optical device employing such a liquid drop ejector, and an electronic apparatus comprising such an electro-optical device.;SOLUTION: In the using method for a liquid drop ejector provided with a liquid drop ejection head for ejecting liquid drops of ejecting liquid toward a work, when the ejecting liquid is sucked from the liquid drop ejection head by the suction force of a suction force generating means under a state where a cap 87 connected with the suction force generating means is touching the liquid drop ejection head, the sucked ejecting liquid is collected without being mixed with other liquids and the collected ejecting liquid is reused as the ejecting liquid being ejected from the liquid drop ejection head.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
