PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively utilizing a waste silicon sludge discharging in a large quantity in the case of grinding or polishing a silicon ingot or a silicon wafer (simply expressed as a wafer, too) when the silicon product such as semiconductor, solar cell is produced. PSOLUTION: When the silicon product such as the semiconductor, the solar cell is produced, the waste silicon sludge discharged in the case of grinding or polishing the silicon ingot and the silicon wafer is utilized as an auxiliary raw material for manufacturing iron.
