PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the voice-coil type linear actuator attaining miniaturization, while being capable of obtaining high thrust.;SOLUTION: This voice coil type linear actuator is provided with a shaft-shaped center yoke 1, consisting of ferromagnetic material, an armature coil 6 arranged movably along axially the center yoke 1, and an annular permanent magnet 2 arranged concentrically related to the armature coil 6 further equipped with an NS magnetic pole in the radial direction. The armature coil 6 has armature coil parts 18, 19 and 20 arranged distributively in at least axially three parts, while the fellow armature coil parts axially adjacent to each other are constituted, in a manner of a current flowing in a reverse direction to each other, the permanent magnet 2 is arranged distributively in at least axially three parts, in a position opposed in the radially direction respectively relating to each armature coil part, additionally an orientation of the fellow NS magnetic poles axially adjacent to each other is set to the orientations which alternately differ related to the radial direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
