PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program and method for analyzing, when cutting out a partial document from a structured document, the structured document of an object based on an extraction condition designated by a user and extracting the partial document of a required point. PSOLUTION: This program for extracting the partial document comprises an extraction condition acquisition procedure for acquiring the extraction condition such as the appearance frequency of a tag or layer number designated by the user, an analysis procedure for analyzing the structured document of the object based on the extraction condition, and a document formation procedure for forming the partial document while retaining the document structure based on the analysis result.
