PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To access, extract and acquire the same contents from any terminal wherein the same contents are well described.;SOLUTION: A data distribution system 30 is provided for distributing suited data B from a first terminal 10 having the data to a second terminal 20. The first terminal is provided with: a data recording means 11 wherein data of a plurality of formats are recorded; a data distribution request receiving means 12 for receiving a data distribution request and receiving information A; a terminal information acquisition means 13 for acquiring information of the second terminal; a data selection means 14 for selecting suited data based upon the acquired information; and a data transmitting means 15 for transmitting the selected data to the second terminal. The second terminal is provided with: a terminal information description means 21 for describing information in a tree structure description; a terminal information recording means 22 for recording information, a data distribution request means 23 for requesting the distribution of suited data to the first terminal and transmitting information to the first terminal; and a data receiving means 24 for receiving the data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
