PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve element removal device capable of altering a butterfly valve to a ball valve by non-water failure, a device for removing incrustation from the inside of a tube through a thus installed ball type repair valve, and a device and a method for verifying the state of adhesion of scale to the inside of the tube.;SOLUTION: This valve element removal device comprises, as major parts, a guide member 15 installed on the upper part of the valve box 11 of a butterfly type repair valve 1 or the upper part of the valve box 62 of the ball type repair valve 61, a bar-like spindle 17 inserted into a guide member 15 so as to be moved forward and backward and to which forward/backward movement operation and rotating operation are applied thereto from the upper side, and a box-like case 25 disposed on the upper side of the guide member 15 and holding the operating mechanism part of the spindle 17. A cutting blade 19 is formed at the tip of the spindle 17. Also, the tip part of the spindle 17 is formed so that a holding member 55 holding a take-out auxiliary tool 59 fitted to the valve element of the butterfly type repair valve 1 can be installed thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
