CENTER MODEM, MODEM SYSTEM, CATV SYSTEM AND NODE FOR CATV SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CATV system by sharing center MODEM functions to each node so as to relieve the load on a center station in the case of data communication.;SOLUTION: One enclosure contains various devices required for data communication utilizing the CATV system. The MODEM system enables data communication between a center MODEM installed in each node of the CATV system and a terminal MODEM installed in a transmission network. In the CATV system, the center MODEM functions for managing the terminal MODEMs are not shared by the center station but shared by each node.
