PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent formation of a welding projection in a penetration welding, by a high density energy beam, of welded members comprising aluminum or aluminum alloy with each other. The shield gas atmosphere G1 shields the circumference of the uranami B and pushes up the keyhole against the pressure of the shield gas S in the laser beam irradiation side, so that the droop of the molten metal (bead) is prevented and the formation of projection caused by the droop is prevented.
