PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize size reduction and lowering of cost by reducing the cost, providing a shelter space where a cinerary box can be moved backward in front of a cinerary box for worship in a dead space of the lower part of an altar and effectively utilizing the space of the whole device, and to transport the cinerary box in a stable state in the transport process.;SOLUTION: This device for automatically laying a person's ashes to rest includes: a storing rack 1 for respectively storing three cinerary boxes composed of two or more cinerary boxes; a worship part 15 where a cinerary box is carried out; and a transport means for transporting three sets of cinerary boxes 3 below the storing rack and the worship part 15. The device further includes: a conveyer 13 slid in the horizontal direction below the worship part 15 to select the cinerary box 3 for worship among the cinerary box set; and an elevating device 14 provided below the conveyer 13 to carry out the cinerary box 3 for worship to the worship part 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
