PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible shelter structure which overcomes problems of a conventional flexible shelter system, is easily available for all people at home, in a workplace, a control room, and a contingency planning center with high reliability, and takes protective measures that are developed in a short period of time at any time.;SOLUTION: There is provided a system for housing and developing the flexible shelter for protecting people from NBC wars. The system involves the flexible shelter which is formed of a two-part cabinet 2 having a housing part 6 and a door part 4, and a foldable surface skin 12 for defining a protective space when developed. The surface skin 12 has one end thereof attached to the housing part 6 or indirectly to the door part 4, and therefore upon opening or movement of the door part 4, the surface skin 12 is developed to form the protective space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
