FISH-CULTURING AQUARIUM EQUIPPED WITH OXYGEN-ENRICHING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional means for supplying oxygen-enriched air into a fish-culturing aquarium, in which the adjustment of oxygen concentration is difficult and troublesome maintenance works such as the exchange of a compound are required, because oxygen produced by the chemical reaction of the compound is used as an oxygen-supplying source.;SOLUTION: This fish-culturing aquarium is characterized by aerating water in a fish-culturing aquarium for edible live fishes with oxygen-enriched air produced with an oxygen-enriching apparatus having an oxygen-enriching membrane and a vacuum type pump. Since the method for passing a gas to be treated through the oxygen-enriching membrane is thus adopted as the oxygen-supplying means, the concentration of oxygen can easily be adjusted and a troublesome maintenance work is not required also when the fish-culturing aquarium is continuously used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
