PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently identify and classify document types by not disarranging a reading order when identifying and classifying.;SOLUTION: An OCR device 1 successively and optically reads written information of documents to be delivered and determines pockets of conveying/discharging destinations of the documents based on classification of identified document types. Written information of a document whose document type cannot be identified in the OCR device 1 is transferred to a control device 2 and displayed on a screen. Based on the written information, an operator identifies a document type thereof for classification and instructs a pocket of the conveying/discharging destination on the display screen.
