PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data inconsistency prevention system and a data inconsistency preventing method capable of preventing data inconsistency from being generated by the timing of data exchange by associating securely instructing the work, confirming stock, and relating results of the reply.;SOLUTION: When an instruction data containing a key code is received, in the case of a new key code, branch number of the initial value is relatively stored per each key code, and confirmation request data based on the instruction data is transmitted, while adding the branch number of the initial value. In the case of an existing key code, the branch number of the stored key code is renewed, and the confirmation request data based on the instruction data is transmitted, while adding the branch number after the renew. When the confirmation result data based on the confirmation request data is received, in the case where the branch number contained in the confirmation result data coincides with the stored branch number, the confirmation result data is effectively processed, and in the case where they do not coincide with each other, the confirmation result data is ignored.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
