PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple rough separation device capable of effectively and efficiently carrying out rough separation of construction wastes mixed with a wide variety of matter.;SOLUTION: The rough separation device (5, 35, 55) is provided with a roll-type screen (15, 39). The roll-type screen has multiple rotation shafts (16) arranged in parallel in the direction of transfer of the wastes, to the shaft parts of which adjacent discs (17) consisting of a plurality of polygonal plates are fixed with the distance between the adjacent discs and the shortest distance between the rotation faces of the adjacent rotation shafts of 200 mm or larger. The roll-type screen is installed with a rising gradient toward the downstream. The wastes are sent out forward upwardly by throwing up the wastes with the rotation of the discs, and simultaneously by screening out part of the wastes through the rotation shaft parts and the discs (17).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
