PRIVILEGE GRANTING METHOD IN FINANCIAL TRANSACTION BY USING CASH CARD, FINANCIAL TRANSACTION TERMINAL, CASH CARD, AND PROGRAM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return a privilege to a customer from a financial institution when charged financial transaction is performed by using a cash card. PSOLUTION: In performing the financial transaction from the financial transaction terminal 10, the same terminal 10 decides if a transaction kind is a charged specific transaction kind after a client's account balance is registered inside an IC cash card 20. If it is the specific transaction kind, the client selects either refund or addition of points. When the refund is selected, an amount of refund is calculated by the IC cash card 20 on the basis of a preset rate of return and a transaction fee, the amount of refund is added to, and registered with, the account balance inside the card and that of the financial institution host computer. When the addition of points is selected, the points are calculated by the IC cash card 20 on the basis of a preset rate of granting points and the transaction fee, and accumulated points are registered inside.
