PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print formatted reports and send e-mails without having to create reports separately and purchase or install application software. PSOLUTION: A provider uses a formatted report server 30 to operate a web site that provides formatted reports on the Internet 20. A user accesses the server 30 using a computer 10 to request a list of formatted reports contained in a formatted report database 35. The server 30 simultaneously sends the list to the computer 10 and sends a print program 36. The user refers to the list to select a desired formatted report. The server 30 sends the selected formatted report to the computer 10. Then a corresponding print control table 37 is also transmitted. The user refers to the print control table 37 to input the number of prints and designate the kind of the means to input insertion data (keyboard 11 or storage device 12) to let a printer 40 print the formatted report with insertion.
