PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hopper door mechanism of a closed type kneading machine which can surely seal between a door plate and a hopper sidewall for a long period of time even when an additive material, a drug and the like are attached to a sealing mechanism.;SOLUTION: The hopper door mechanism of the closed type kneading machine includes the door plate 1 in a kneading material supply hopper, and an air tube-like sealing means 3 for sealing a gap between a side face of the door plate 1 and the sidewall 2 of the supply hopper in the overall length of the door plate, installed at the door plate 1 or the hopper sidewall 2. The door plate 1 is oscillatorily displaced between an open position for guiding the kneading material from the supply hopper to a material charging inlet and a closing position for closing the material charging port. The air tube-like sealing means 3 is deformed to be radially expanded or contracted by the supply or discharge of the pressurized fluid to seal between the door plate 1 and the hopper sidewall 2 at least at the closed position of the door plate 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
