PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerated cellulose fiber provided with functions such as excellent dyeability with various dyes, deodorant performance, etc., and to provide a new spinning dope being its raw material.;SOLUTION: The spinning dope for a cellulose/protein bicomponent fiber is obtained by mixing a cellulose with 5-50 wt.% of a crosslinked protein obtained by adding 10-50 wt.% of a water-soluble crosslinking agent to an alkali-soluble protein exhibiting solubility at pH 8-12. In the spinning dope, the alkali-soluble protein is a disulfide-crosslinked, bonded and cleft polypeptide of animal hair fiber protein. In the spinning dope, the alkali-soluble protein is an acid-coagulable protein. The spinning dope is mixed with 0.5-5.0 wt.%, based on the cellulose, of a polyethyleneimine.
