UPDATE METHOD OF IKONOSRPC DATA USING A SMALL NUMBER OF GROUND CONTROL POINTS

摘要

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain more precise positional information by improving an RPC as a parameter of the conventional RFM sensor model only by a small number of control points regarding a method for extracting topographic information by using a satellite video. PSOLUTION: The number of ground control points required in extracting topographic information using RPC data (a step S516) is considerably reduced by generating virtual ground control point coordinate from PRC data or constituting a parameter observation equation by using the RPC data (a step S510). Consequently, costs and time required for ground control point surveying are saved and a new sensor model does not need to be applied since an RFM sensor model using an RPC file is used.
